Summary
The narrator, a young man with a tyrannical, arrogant temper, sets out his view of the world in a first-person account that measures the horror of being an “average guy” convinced he is all-powerful. The novel pushes its satire of the banlieues and of current events (including 11 September 2001) in the spirit of his earlier books.
